white-space: normal; orphans: 2; widows: 2; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial;"><span style="font-size: 15px;">老城为不规则长方形，长520米，宽350米，占地约280多亩。城内主要古建筑有文庙、城隍庙、关帝庙、望湖楼、图书楼、魁星楼等。其中望湖楼为清同治八年(公元1869年)修建，后由胡景翼将军于1923年重修，为“湖山书院”所在地。图书楼由康有为题字。还有被网友称为“最牛银行”的中国人民银行富平支行原址。富平县建置，至今已有2440余年历史。据记载，此地夏商时，属“天下九州”之一的雍州，西周时属京畿。东周时，秦厉公二十一年(公元前456年)，始建立县治，定名频阳县(今美原镇古城村一带)。元末明初，富平县治由义亭城迁至窑桥寨，即今之老县城。1949年5月4日，富平县城解放。随着经济发展，县城1970年迁至新城区。老县城改做杜村镇莲湖村。</span></p><p style="margin: 10px 0px; font-size: 15px;">据介绍，望湖楼是清同治年间，为观赏城下大片莲花所建。其所以成为旅游观光的一道风景线，重要原因之一是“南湖烟雨”的胜景所致。明清直至上世纪五、六十年代，在干旱的陕西，富平城南还是十里莲湖，千顷碧波，稻香诱人，莲田滚珠。莲湖村79岁老人宋雪艳感慨地说，现在墙外早已是杂草丛生，很是寥落。</span></p><p style="margin: 5px 0px; text-align: center;
